Questions about Caldino
If no water running, Caldino cannot start working.
It will not be burned under this way.
But we suggest let cold water pass the water heater firstly before turning on for the first time’s using (after finish of installation).
If water flow rate is less than 1.5 liter / minute, Caldino cannot start working.
And if water flow rate suddenly changes to be less than 1.5 liter / minute, then Caldino will stop working automatically.
If problem caused by Caldino itself, then guarantee is valid.
If the electricity supply fails, there are no problems because Caldino stops working and does not overheat. And it doesn’t break.
Once electricity recovers, the users need to switch on Caldino again for using.
In the event of power surges, the PCB inside Caldino could be damaged. It is preferable to have an upstream voltage stabilizer.
There is a filter in the inlet of water heater.
Generally, if water is not so dirty, the filter will stop impurity.
If there is too much impurity in the filter, then the water flow rate becomes smaller and smaller, and finally less than 1.5 liter / minute, then Caldino cannot start working.
Then users need to clean the filter.
If water is too dirty, and even the filter cannot stop impurity going inside of water heater, that may cause damage of water heater, and then there is no guarantee on this issue.
In this case, the installation of additional filter, upstream of the existing one, is recommended.
